Reaction Time Test — what it does, the basis for its calculations, and why we made it.
The Reaction Time Test is a free web tool that measures your reaction time in milliseconds (ms) — click the moment the screen turns green. It runs five rounds and shows your average and grade.
Grades are based on the average of about 273ms found in global user statistics (Human Benchmark user data). Your best score is stored only on your device, so it is still there when you come back.
Reaction speed plays a role in games, sports, driving, and more. It is fun to see where you stand and to compare with friends. This site exists to offer a tool you can enjoy in short, repeated sessions.
Measurements include the input delay of your device and browser, so results can differ between devices. This tool is for fun and reference.
